Child & Adolescent Therapy

We work collaboratively with families to recognize their strengths and face their challenges. We often work directly with children’s schools, pediatricians, and others to coordinate care in the settings where children live. Our clinicians have expertise with children and adolescents across the spectrum of sexual orientation and gender identity and expression.

We offer treatment to children and adolescents, both individually and within the context of  family, for a full range of concerns including:

  •  Depression
  • Anxiety and trauma
  • Learning and school difficulties
  • Behavioral disorders
  • Attention and concentration concerns
  • Reactions to divorce
  • Family conflict
  • Adoption and attachment issues
  • Parental guidance

We use a variety of approaches including cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, psychodynamic, and play therapy. Each professional explores with the family what kinds of services fit best.
